Third: Economic Activities and Consulting in the Sector of Government and Private. 1. In the Governmental Sector: • Contributing effectively to the discussion of the constitutional amendments for the constitution of Yemen 1995 and participating in proposing the economic, financial and Trade texts in the Constitution. • Contributing and participating in the discussion of man budget for the State, governments’ programs and economic agreements which were shown to the House of Representatives 93-97. • Contributing to the dialogues and discussions of the economic reform program representing Al-Islah during 95- 1996. • Presidency of technical committee at the private committee of the House of Representative to discuss the five-year plan for the first State 96-2000 and the active participation in preparing the proper proposals and guidance to develop the plan. • Participating in debates which organized by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation devoted to prepare the five-year plans for the second and third State. • Preparing an economic paper for the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, entitled: (Investment climate and Partnership’s Horizons with the Private Sector), has included a complete matrix for the partnership’s horizons and investment’s opportunities. • Participating in discussing and preparing national reports for the human developments issued by Ministry of Planning and Development for various years whether as Member of scientific committee, consultative staff or an external reader for background papers or presenting background papers of the reports. • Participating in developing a vision for the social security program through presenting an evaluating vision for the role of staffs and institutions of the social security in Yemen and ways of developing them. • Preparing a vision for the government about developing the economic and social role for Alzakat and endowments in Yemen and proper ways to increasing the money of endowments and activate the role of zakat. • Evaluating the investment program for the public association of social insurances in Yemen and contributing to set proposals to develop the program. • Presenting a consulting in investment mechanism the reserve of foreign currency of the State, through presenting a working paper for the President of the Republic. • Contributing and participating in discussing the visions and plans of the World Bank’s programs and projects in Yemen especially for the programs and selecting the priorities of the projects and etc…, in the context of the meetings and consultations organized by the World Bank’s office in Sana’a with the representatives of the civil society organizations and Yemeni economists. • Participating the discussion of issues and problems Yemen's accession to World Trade Organization by the membership of the governmental economists committee appointed from the Cabinet, 1998. • Presenting consultations for the Development Organization’s office of the UN in Sana’a, for developing economic and social role of Zakat in Yemen by presenting an integrated vision. 2. In Private Sector: • Participating in discussing the investment law in Yemen the other economic laws whether through my work as member of economic committee in Representative Council or through the meetings with businessmen. • Presenting economic consultations for a number of investors with regard to usefulness of small or medium projects etc... • Participating in preparing the investment program of the Fish Company as the Head of the investment committee in the administration council, 98-2001. • Review and Discuss investment plans for some of the private sectors such as the plan of strategic vision for Sciences and Technology University. • Participate the activities held by the private sector through the chambers of commercial and industrial or the businessmen club especially for the climate of investment and taxes and discussing the economic situation in Yemen. • Participate in preparing to create Islamic Sheba Bank and Islamic banking law. • Presenting a training course in the methods of Islamic finance which was organized by Ha’al Saeed Anam’s Group in Taiz, 1998. 3- Academic Consultation • Member in the consultation staff for number of Yemeni scientific magazine such as: Trade College’s magazine, Social Studies’ magazine and Strategic Orbits’ magazine, and presenting academic and scientific methodology consultations for many of researches. • Founding member of Al-Yemenia University. 4- Business and Experiences: A.
